Seasonal Wooden Truck
A decorative woodworking project designed to teach repeatable construction first, then use the same sound object as a platform for seasonal finishing, color planning, and creative variation.

The truck is the object. The repeatable build is the lesson.
The core construction stays stable while the cargo, color plan, signs, and finish treatment can change by season. That lets the maker practice variation without introducing unnecessary geometry changes every time.

01 · Layout
Pattern transfer and reference lines
Establish reference edges, centerlines, part labels, and repeatable locations before cutting begins.
02 · Cut
Cutting to a controlled line
Choose the right cutting approach, protect critical geometry, and refine the edge rather than forcing the first cut to do everything.
03 · Assemble
Dry fit, align, fasten
Use a deliberate assembly order with checkpoints so attractive parts do not become a crooked object.
04 · Prepare
Surface preparation before decoration
Sand, ease edges, repair defects, and prepare the surface so the finish reflects the intended craftsmanship.
05 · Finish
Color systems and seasonal variation
Apply repeatable paint plans, swatches, numbered color maps, distressing options, and protective coats.

The manual is being designed as an 11×17 bench book with separate full-size plotter sheets where true scale is useful.
Templates
Full-size patterns prepared for 24-inch roll-paper printing within usable plotter width.

Parts, material purpose, visual identification, sourcing ideas, and substitutions.
Seasons
Color swatches, numbered paint plans, themed parts lists, and finish schedules.
